Ive purchased three cars on 60 month loans. The first car made it throught the duration of the loan. The second, I sold about 3 1/2 years into the loan. Ant the third is my current vehicle which is a 2001 modle year with 7000 miles on it at date of purchase. Yeah, Im paying a little more for it but I like to keep the payments low.

Would you buy a new car on a 60 month loan?
by Elsewhere ini have never done a 60 month loan and i have sworn i never would... but with how much cars are costing these days i'm wondering if i will have to do a 60 month loan on my next car.
that is five frigg'in years!
i paid cash for my last car ($4,500 - 1999 ford contour se, used) so i had no payments to make.

What are JW's going to do with their "outdated" Rev book and Dan proph book
by booker-t ini was just wondering what is going to happen when the leaders at wt headquaters see that the revelation grand climax book and the pay attention to daniel's prophecies book all prove false.
are they going to rewrite both books and call it "new light" and somehow say that they were wrong about the beast of revelation being the un and now the un will be considered holy?
are jw's going to have to praise the un as from jehovah and jesus?

As many have mentioned already they'll do it slowly, first by introducing new light in The Watchtower. Then, they'll remove the book from the libraries in local congregations and change the actual wording of the printed material on the updated CDrom releases. Eventually they'll exclude the book entirely from any CDroms, thus effectively erasing the memory of it entirely from the consciousness of the rank and file.

No, I dont remember. I would say that it was at a summer district convention between the years of 1989 and 1991. I thought that it was earlier than that but I just cant recall.

When I got to the point that I could have free will and just up and leave without a parent breathing down my neck I just quit going.
One time when I was 14 or so I snuck into my mothers purse and snatched her car keys. I told her I was going to the bathroom when instead I took her car for a joyride. Looking back I can honestly say that doing 80 mph in a residential area was not a very wise decision. Fortunatley no one was hurt and I didnt wreck the car.

man long ago left the natural order of things that keep the earth as a living habitat in balance and healthy.. he now manipulates the earth to make it bend to his wishes so that he can create paper (worthless profit), accumulate multiples of what he needs to survive and make himself as comfortable as he possibly can.. as the billions in the developing countries become more consumptive the world will eventually be used up.. that will be the true armageddon that mankind will face.

Man will consume as long as there is something valuable and readily available that is worth consuming. The life span of the Earth and its resources, however will long out live that of our species. The fate of the Earth lies not with man but with the Sun. Several billion years from now the Sun will swell into a Red giant, perhaps even consuming the orbit of the Earth. That will be the end of our home and it’s resources, , and debatable of life itself.

I remember one year a long time ago at a distrect convention someone told me that they were going to be serving Coca Cola and Pepsi in lieu of the Shasta Cola that they had served in years past. Now that was a thrilling pronouncement. However it was just a vicious rumor designed by apostates to lure me away from Jehovah.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I'm reading the question properly? Are you and I reading the same Watchtower? How could I have possibly found any of Jehovah's pronouncements thrilling? Oh, wait a minute...I suppose that Jehovah's pronouncements could be thrilling if not first filtered through the lens of the WBTS.
